not filtering with slicers

I have the following measure that works okay

 

 

countAll = 

 var x = CALCULATE(

         COUNTROWS(
            VALUES(table[sub_std_name_key])
         )
     )

return x

 

 

 

Let's say this table is related to the Fact table with an m:n cardinality. I see the measure is calculated okay on the first time, but when I updated the slicer nothing happens, and still shows the same counting... what else should I do to this work properly?

    Hi Anonymous ,

    Measure itself is completely fine. I use the same logic sometimes and there is no reason for problems.
    I would doble check your relationships between tables, includig direction of the relationship.

    In case you struggle, send a printscreen and tell me which column you want to use as a slicer.
