need help with growth calculation

Hi ,

I have  a ticket table with creation date related to date dimension and I have a application dimension table related to ticket table.
I want to calculate the growth of each application over the years.

How I can show this as trend so that it will show the growth of each application over the years?

My metric is the count of tickets. Could you please help me with this?
