metadata repository
Hello all,
Can we use a metadata repository in Power BI?
So basically we want to use our metadata repository to create reports based on the changes in our Data Warehouse.
Is such a thing possible?

Can you please elaborate more on this. What is the data warehouse platform.
What type of reporting are you trying to do based on metadata repository.
DataWarehous is where basically data is extracted from operational systems, transformed and load to a structured schema.
We want to report upon our metadata repository to see where, when and how often the data is changing

Yes You can report on your metadata repository as long as the data is stored in the database or some other storage system like blobs, csv or excel files, SQL Server etc.
you can create a data model based on your metadata repository tables and create appropriate measures to see what is changing in the underlying data.
What vendor/system are you using for your data warehouse.
Please see the attached data story I have created for the adventureworks data model based on ssas tabular cubes for more inspiration. You can create something similar for DWH too.
