matrix doesn't match table

According to your image,it seems the same in table and matrix.
In your table , you put Category on the row, so there is no grouping for the total, shown as the total number of all Catogory 24.
In your Matix, you put the "Catrgory" on the colum , so the value in Matrix is calculated for each different Category grouping, you can try to add the Count in Matrix. 21+1+1+1=24 . it is the same as in the "Table".
It measn when the Item ="Appliance" and Category="Disk" , the count =21.
