map visual in powerBI desktop

Hi

 

While using powerBI desktop version map visual is able to resolve the place using name(s).  In the location field, I have mentioned name of the place. Since address can be different so we have used three name. And this is working fine.

The screen print is attached.  But when I publish same report on web, the location resolution is not happening.  Screen print is attached. what should I do to ensure that location is reflected in map visual on web as well?

It shows somewhere in Africa, while the location is correct with pbix, i.e. in Indonesia. Is it a bug?

    HI rjshrd,

     

    Can you ensure you have correct setting the data category type and haven't used the concatenated location? They may cause the issue.
