line graph visual combining months and not following years

Hi

I have data for new customers joining courses by date and want to show it in months, across years. For example Jan-20 to Feb-21.The issue is, then I have the date grouped into "Year and month" in the Axis, it just shows 12 months, and essentially will combine Jan-20 and Jan-21 dates into "January" etc for other months.. as below... Ideally I want it to shows Jan-20 to Dec-20, then carry on with Jan-21 to Dec-21

I really dont know how to accomplish this any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Chris

Hi @cwilliams2109 ,

I think the “reverse Y” mentioned by amit  refers to the following icon.

Hi

When you say drag month and year..... Do you have to have a seperate "Month" and "Year" column of data? I am just using 1 field of "Referral Date" and dont have seperate fields.

So it looks like this
