I am attempting to connect to kobo toolbox as a data source, I have followed the step by step instructions but I still get the following error in Power BI
Details: "The credentials provided cannot be used for the Web source. Please update the credential type through a refresh or in the Data Source Settings dialog to continue. (Source at https://kf.kobotoolbox.org/.)"
I have used the crednetials to successfully access the site and the 4 surveys I have on there. I have tried copying and pasting the credentials, reentering them manually dozens of time, deleting the data source and reconnecting. I've tried what I think is everything and since the credentials work on the site I'm inclined to think its a power bi issue.
Please help!!
Hi Mmahachi,
I think you are input wrong source url, in document it use rest api url as source(you test with home page url).
I don't think you can direct use same credentials to pass home page verification.
