kml files in Map

Hi,

  I am completely new to power Bi and started working with Maps componnet.

  I have .kml files which will get refreshed for evergy 15  mins . How can i import kml files to Bing maps and also how to refresh the map for 15mins

    No, it's not supported to import custom map layer into Bing map visual in Power BI. You can only put geography data fields into the visual. However, Power BI can't parse kml files to return data fields. 

     

    We can import custom map layer in Shape Map visual. But it only accepts TopoJSON file, and it's not possible to dynamically refresh the file.
