issue with measure

Hi guys,
 
Can you help me with isue below? The date column comes from a Calendar table. 
I need to fix this measure so my visual which has YOY% can work.
 
Net Churn - 30D% LY = CALCULATE(
    [Net Churn Monthly % - 30D]
    ,SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Calendar'[Date])
)

I was able to fix my issue actualy doing the below.

Net Churn - 30D% LY = CALCULATE(
    [Net Churn Monthly % - 30D] ,
    DATEADD( 'Calendar'[Date] , -1 , YEAR ) )
