issue with map visual

hi guys

i am facing an issue with map in my work pc.  it is not highlighting the countries. when i use the same excel sheet in my personal pc it high light the countries in map visual

 

you can see my personal pc visualmypc.JPG

 

 

 

but when i try the same file but from my work pc it does not work

can you assest me and tell me how to solve it

I tried and could not reproduce your problem, my visual objects work fine like they did before you had the problem:

I suggest you check the problem in the following ways:

 

  1. check that the area settings are the same between the two computers.

  1. make sure that both your work pc and your personal pc are running the same version of Power BI Desktop.

  1. make sure your administrator has granted you permission to use map visual objects in admin portal.

Also check if some ports might be blocked in your work environment.

Additionally I would see if the "data category" of the country column is set correctly (even though this should not have such a severe impact)

 

Try changing the visual to a table on your home pc and work pc and see if there are any differences

hi guys

i just checked both setting and both of them are the same. ( regional setting...etc ) 

but i didnt check permission to use map visual objects in admin portal. ( because i dont know where i can access it)
