interactive filter on report page

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to place a filter on my report page instead of changing configerations in that black area on the right hand side.

I know what report/page/visual level filters are but that is not I want.  I would like the viewer can interactively see visuals for different groups by clicking some "filter" on the report instead of having to go to the RHS to change the group.

 

Any ideas?

    You might want to explore the slicer visualization. That puts a filter it right on the page, and you can configure the slicer functionality in the 'format' secion of the visualization There's also other add-ins in the visuals gallery https://app.powerbi.com/visuals/
