independent columns

Hi everyone,
I present here a problem that has been with me for quite some time
I found a solution for her but it is not good enough

The problem:
Creating independent columns in one visual table
Column A, Column B, Column C, Column D,
(and probably 3 more columns later)
Each column can have different filters and not be affected by the column next to it
for example
Column A
Presents the year 2020, quarter 1 month 1, ACTUAL, FINAL, REPORTING
Column B
Presents the year 2021, quarter 1, month 1, ACTUAL, FINAL, REPORTING
And so on

I created the following solution:
Creating duplicate dimensions for each DIM I use as a filter
For example DIM time then I also have DIM time (2) and so on

My question is this
I want to create more columns as I said at the beginning, for example 8 columns
According to my solution I would have to multiply the dimensions by 8 and this is not something I want to do

I would appreciate a clear answer and help on the subject, thanks

Hi @netanel

I'm afraid I cannot think of better solutions than yours. As every slicer requires a column, only when it comes from an independent table it can avoid filter other columns which are used for other slicers. When a Dim table has multiple columns, these columns will always be able to filter each other.
