incremental refresh stop

i  defined 12 months period to retain historical data and 1 month period for refreshing incremental data while setting up the refresh policy i gave the range start and range end parameters values fr...

    Hi powerbiexpert22,

    I am sure whatever the dates you provided in the PBI desktop application that doesn't effect on incremental refresh. Those dates are just development purpose. 

     

    I would suggest you that please check once in the SSMS how the partions are working and latest date&time stamp, in this way you will came to know whether the incremental refresh is updating data or not.

     

    I hope you can able to see 12 partitions for 12 months archived data(from 1/11/2024 to 31/10/2025) and 1 month(1/11/2025 to 30/11/2025) for data refresh.

    if the range start and range end does not matter then what could be the reason of stopping incremental refresh
