incremental or add only neely added data from excel or data base to power bi

Dear Concern,

I have huge data set. and new data added in database or excel file on regular bases.

So rather pulling full data set from my sql or exel I want to do incremental update or only to add newlly added data to power bi

How could  i do this. as when i refresh then second data table is created which is totally frustation

N.B. I have seen some video where it say to configure incremental parameter fro power bi SERVICE for publiching.

this time I actually want incremental or newly added data from my source data set or data base or excel file to power bi

Hi @abc_777 ,

You need to use the incremental refresh capabilties:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/incremental-refresh-overview

There is an option that get's only the detected data changes

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/incremental-refresh-overview#4---detect-data-...
