include relationship columns option in query editor

Hello,
I am using Power BI Desktop, the 32-bit version of the July update (version 2.37.4464.461).

The include relationship columns option that I am referring to, is on the Source step for an Access database.
I can't figure out what it is suppose to do.
I thought it would work like the "select related tables" button on the navigator window, but when testing, the related tables were not imported.

I am hoping that someone can tell me what this option does.

Thank you
Tracy

elz Basically the way that works is,

I have tableA with relationship to tableB, then when connecting to database if i tick 'Include Relationship Columns' then under Navigator window when I click 'Select related Tables' it will automatically pick tableB but if i have not ticked that option then when you click 'Select related tables' it will not pick tableB.

      Hi Ankit,
I tried it again. I cleared the Include Relationship columns option for the database in the query editor, then saved the changes and closed the file.

I re-opened the file, went to the navigator window, selected the table, clicked the Select related tables button and a few tables were automatically selected.

My thought was that no tables should be selected, unless the option works differently, with different types of databases. By that I mean, the include option seems to be ignored with an access database. right now, i don't have another type of database, like a sql server database to test with.

I don't know if i did anything wrong along the way.
      Thank you

I don't see the option "Include Relationship columns" when accessing an Access accdb file.  So I think the option won't affect the "select related table" option when using an Access source. And it seems that "select related table" always works. Regarding other databases that have the option "Include Relationship columns", "select related table" works accordingly.

By the way, may you guide how to clear that option in query editor.
