importing from excel file which has stock names

Hi

I have excel file which has stock symbols (first I entered stock symble for example MSFT and then in excel when to Data tab-->Stock) and excel insert it the full name of the stock for me. Now if I get data from this excel file, Power BI wont be able to understand Stock Name column and gave me error message. Please see screenshts below:

If you are sure that the error is because of the stock symbol, I recommend that you trim the column before importing it into Power BI Desktop. Use a formula to select for the entire value in column A, every character except for the stock symbol.
