importing excel data model into power bi

Hello,

I have a data model in excel (multiple tables with relationships). when I import the excel into power Bi, it doesn't keep the same structure rather it links the tables using columns of the same name. it seems that power bi doesn't recognize the structure if tables built in excel.

Is there any way to import the full structure?

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that Power BI will try and build associations itself, if the relationships that Power BI has created are not correct then you can go create/amend the relationships yourself in the Relationship/Modelling View.
