I'm trying to use the following code to accomplish the following: when a slicer on the page is selected, in a separate Card Visual, return the value calculated by the code. If no slicer is selected, I want to return text that says: "Select Asset ID". This Measure works as intended when a slicer is selected, but returns a "NaN" error when no slicer is selected. How can I amend it so that the desired text is returned?
Remaining Cash Flow (from input) = IF(HASONEVALUE(zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Asset ID]), CALCULATE( SUM(zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Cash Flow after Debt Service]), FILTER( ALLSELECTED(zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Month]), ISONORAFTER(zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Month], TODAY()) ) ), "Select Asset ID" )
This may caused by the FILTER() statement in your measure, you may modify your measure like below and check if it can meet your requirement:
Remaining Cash Flow (from input) =
IF (
HASONEVALUE ( zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Asset ID] ),
CALCULATE (
SUM ( zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Cash Flow after Debt Service] ),
ISONORAFTER ( zzNew_Portfolio_Outputs[Month], TODAY () )
),
"Select Asset ID"
)

This did not work - I'm still getting an [NaN] error
Could you share some sample data for further analysis?
