how to make connection from Power BI Desktop with AWS RDS Postgre SQL
Hello everyone,
I am trying to connect PBI Desktop with AWS RDS PostgreSQL (XXXXXXXXXXXX us-east-1-rds.amazonaws.com) we have enabled port 5435 for communication and still, it throwing an error as 'unable to connect'. Alternatively, I have used the ODBC connector we are able to connect but additionally, we need to set up a gateway, internet connectivity for the Prod server and need other assistance from the network team. Here, we are looking for a direct connection from PBI Desktop with AWS RDS Postgre SQL. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

You need to download the AWS public key and convert it to a certificate using an SSL converter. Import this certificate into a trusted root certificate authority on your machine.Install Npgsql: Ensure that Npgsql, which allows PostgreSQL to be accessed by . You can install it using the Package Manager console in Visual Studio.
