how to filter a table visual by a column from another table?

hi all!

i have 2 tables:

company table that  looks like this:

ADI1212_0-1695041463338.png

and locations around the work of said comapnies table:

ADI1212_3-1695041717226.png

they have a one to many relationship

now i was asked to make comapny table as a table visual and the location from locations table as a filter like this: ADI1212_2-1695041674945.png

but!! the filter is not working and the table isnt being filtered by the location 😞

adding the location filter as a filed to the table visual makes duplicates and i cant have that

is there a way to make this filter work?

all help is much appreciated !

Hello,

In the data Model, is there a relationship between these two tables, because in order to filter from one table to another there should be a relationship between the two.
