how to add comma to numbers

The older version of Power BI can format numbers in Modeling.  But I cannot find it in the current version?   

I was told to go to Power BI canvas view and click on column tools to add comma.  But I cannot find this canvas view in my Power BI? 

This is what I can see.  It is different from the image above.   The above image was provided by someone else.

Powerbi desktop menu and ribbon are dynamic since about July 2021 - meaning they change depending on what is selected on screen.  Can you confirm you are using powerbi desktop and the version please?

If this is not working for you, perhaps try on a colleague's pc to test.
