how to add additional column in Matrix visual
Hi Everyone,
In matrix visual, I would like to add one column called "description" based on the category in the visual
Example :
| Category | Items | Description | Total amount | Tax |
| 1 | C1item1 | descptionitem1 | 67 | 5 |
| 1 | item2 | descptionitem2 | 87 | 5 |
| 1 | item3 | descptionitem3 | 87 | 5 |
| 1 | item4 | descptionitem4 | 76 | 5 |
| 1 | item4 | descptionitem5 | 876 | 5 |
| Total | descptionitem1 | 1193 | 5 | |
| 2 | Citem2 | descptionCitem2 | 54 | 7 |
| 2 | Citem3 | descptionCitem3 | 98 | 7 |
| 2 | Citem4 | descptionCitem4 | 45 | 7 |
| 2 | Citem5 | descptionCitem5 | 54 | 7 |
| Total | descptionCitem5 | 251 | 7 |
| Total | descptionitem1 | 1193 | 5 |
Expected In my visual is as below
| Total | 1193 | 5 |
In power Bi matrix visual I have added the description column into VALUES tab.
Kindly please help me to resolve this issue.
NOTE: I couldn't attach the image here if any one knows please let me know how to attach it
here are the screen shot for desired result:
go to format table and open "Row Headers" and turn off step layout
go to subtotal tab and complete the setting as highlighted below
drill down all the way to get the desired result (see below)

I hope you can have/add an additional column in your source and extract the data in power BI. Kindly let me know if any concerns.
