hi all :-)
hi everybody!
i was hoping you could help me with a niggling little problem on power bi desktop. i need to switch on the 'on object interaction', i navigate to the options, check the box, but when i click ok, the program does NOTHING, literally just sits there waiting. i've tried leaving it for 10-15 mins, nothing. i've even uninstalled and reinstalled bi desktop and it still will not do it. the tutorial i'm doing depends on this option being checked, has anyone got any ideas or tips, thanks in advance, J
Hi jbaz73 - This behavior isn't normal. When you click OK in File > Options and settings > Options > Preview features, Power BI Desktop should either:
- Close the Options window immediately, or
- Prompt you to restart Power BI (for Preview features like On-object interaction).
Please do this and let us know.

Try manually restarting Power BI Desktop after enabling on-object interaction if it still doesn't apply, update to the latest version or reset your Power BI user settings.
