help counting with two excels with a relationship

 i have one excel with some mails(so a String) in a column and another one with mails(mails from the first excel included but much more on them) in one column and another column saying if they are type A or B. i make a relationship from first excel to the second one and now i want to know hom many of the mails of the first excel are from class A an how many from class B. Any help? puting the two on them in a histogram results in showing the 100 mails in the colum of type A and the 100 in the column of type B

You'll have to create a 1-to-1(many) relationship.
1 being the table with categories.

1(many) being the table with some mails.

now just drag the the category to axis & count mails to values (from the"many " table)

or the late response, i was having family issues.

i have this relationship which seems to not work. i would want to know a relationship between 2. from responses 1 and tipus parada from llistat agremiats. and i link them between id and email.

any idea? when i do the grafic it doesnt separate between the two categories in tipus parada,  A or B
