    Hi Anonymous,

     

    Normally, the pbidesktop.exe process slowly may caused by many factors, such as large data source, complex queries and dax expressions and so on. Please check if your pbix file hit one of the factors.

     

    In addition, you could disable data previews to download in the background under File>>Options and Settings >>Options>>Data load>> Allow data previews to download in the background.

     

    In addition, you'd better install the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
