formula to format measures
Can I condititionally format a measure?
For example if a metric is CPC or CTR then to format as a percentage, otherwise as $

Based on your description, the easiest way is using the format feature in 'Modeling' ribbon. As a workaround, you may try the following steps.
Here is my example.
Table:
FormatTable:
Then you may create a measure as below.
FormatSales = var _currentformat = SELECTEDVALUE(FormatTable[Format]) return IF( OR(_currentformat = "CPC",_currentformat = "CTR"), MAX('Table'[Sales])/100&"%", "$"&MAX('Table'[Sales]) )Result:

Options is under Data modeling tab.
