format the date column in a table defined by calendarauto()

I have a date table that was defined with Date = CALENDARAUOT() and when I use that date in a slicer all is good except I cannot format it.  as you can see in the screenshot, the Format is 14/03/2001 (dd/mm/yyyy) but it shows as mm/dd/yyyy.

Does anyone know how I might change the format in the slicer?

Locale settings do not affect a date slicer that is generated from a calendarauto() function, as it states on the Locale page its for interpretting numbrs, dates, and time in imported text for this file.  My solution was to use the Timeline 2.4.0 slicer instead and turn off weeks and days.

the regional settings have had no impact.  Regional settings specifically says it determines the regional settings used to interpret numbers, dates, and time in "Imported Text" for this file. the CalendarAuto function is not imported and does not seem to be affected by regional Settings.

Hi, @lynchinter

The date format display in the slicer visual decided by the local client Regional settings. Please make sure your region setting like below:
