  • Hi,

My opinion would be to resolve this issue in MS Excel itself.  f you are amenable to my approach, then share the download link of the Excel file and i will share the process of correction.

    Hi Anonymous ,

You can change the type of the column using locale and set it to UK format. To do this, right click on the column name, select Change Type, then Using Locale, then pick Date and en-GB.
You can check the regional settings of your system and make sure it is set to UK. Then restart the Power BI desktop and refresh the query editor.
You can check the region of the SharePoint library if you are using one as a source. It often defaults to US. You can change it in the site settings.

Powerquery - Editor is forcing US Date format including for parameters when source data is in UK Date format - Stack Overflow
