Hi everyone,
I have a scenario where I want to filter out child/parent record based on the filter applied. Currently, if I created a relationship with child, it filters out only records where it appears as a child. However, I want to filter out those as well records in the table visual where it appears as a parent like below. Any suggestions?

Hi @Sri_Murugan
Thank you for providing the solution. However, it is a manual solution, so it would not work for my case.
Hi @Idrissshatila ,

Thanks all.
1=> Raw data
2=>Result
3=>Filter applied
I have created a calculated column and used in slicer. Hope this approach may helps you..
Hi @Idrissshatila ,
Thanks for your swift response. However, the problem in this solution is that if a person searches client, he/she will have to select all the parents of client manually in the slicer to see those records. Ideally, if he/she selects only 1 record, it should filter where ever it appears in both of the columns. I am not sure how this can be achieved.
Hello @zubair242 ,
you could add another slicer for child only that will make it easy to select all clients.

Hello @zubair242 ,
so what you do is that you put both parent and child fields in one slicer above each others, so it will show each parent what you have as a child under it and then you can click for the child of each parent.
