fill nulls with lookup power query
Hi,
I am looking to fill null values by a lookup using existing ID
eg
Name | Product |
Test A | FM |
Test A | FM |
Test A | null |
Test A | FM |
Test A | null |
as you can see from above test a has products but some come back blank due to nature of the database. i need it to lookup the existing name and fill the nulls.
i can't use fill up and down as not all will align correctly even if I sort by name etc.
Any help would be appreciated

HI @fazza1991,
I think you can group these records first and nested the 'fill down' function into these group functions. Then you can expand these records to get the filled-down records based on the group.
