Hi @SukanyaGG ,

Your solution is great, @Uzi2019 . Here I have another idea that I want to share for reference.

Select the folder data source in Power BI Desktop, enter the folder path, select OK, and then select "Convert Data" to view the folder's files in the Power Query editor.

In the Power Query Editor, select Content (the first column label) and click the double-arrow icon next to the column name.

Select the tables to merge and click OK.

For more details, please refer to the link: Combine files (binaries) in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.

For refresh issues, you can consider configuring planned refresh in power bi service. In the "Planned Refresh" section, you can define the frequency and time slot for refreshing the semantic model. Some data sources do not require a configurable gateway to refresh, while other data sources require a gateway.

For more details, please refer to the documentation: Configure scheduled refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Best Regards,

Clara Gong
