favorites button

miguel It's incredible that we still don't have the option to control the favorites buttons to actually determine which favorites we want to display in the button visual.

We need an update to this component to improve our DataViz.

Let's say, for example, that I have 12 Indicators, but in the button I only want to select 6 to be displayed/selected.

from your screenshot, i assumed it is a slicer.

if yes, this is one of many way, you can save the pbix file while those 6 being selected. the it will always be selected when the report page is opened.

    Thank you.

      Hello, Irwan !

This is the navigation button visual found in: Insert > Button > Bookmark Browser.

When I add it, it returns all the bookmarks I have configured, but I might not want to put them all in the menu (button view), I only want to select some. Currently, this isn't possible in the visual settings. In fact, I can only delete one, and nothing more than that.

    Hi!

No entirely sure why I was tagged 😅

But for any gaps that you may encoutner, or any suggestion that you may have, I definitely suggest that you share your feedback as ideas in the Fabric Ideas Portal.

Someone from the Power BI team should be able to review any and all the ideas that you've shared.

    Best!

    Hi Vilcimar ,

Currently, the Favorites (Indicators) button automatically displays all available indicators in the report, and there isn’t an option to selectively control which ones appear in the button visual.

As a workaround, you may consider creating individual buttons or using bookmark/navigation buttons to control exactly which views are available to users.

If this functionality would help your scenario, we recommend submitting it as a feature request in the Power BI Ideas forum so the product team can review it for future enhancements: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Fabric-Ideas/idb-p/fbc_ideas

    Hope this helps.
