expressions that yield variant data-typ cannot be used to define calculated columns

I googled the error and it says I’m not using the same data types in my fields.  That’s not true as all are decimal, so unsure how to fix this.  How can I fix my data or my formula?

boolean is a true or false.  The part I referred to returns true or false.  [FICA Exempt] is a decimal.  So the IF statement returns true or false sometimes and decimal sometimes.  That's why it's complaining.

You need to rewrite the IF statement so it only returns values of the same type.
