export visual data in excel

As I mentioned in the above reply that Power BI Desktop primarily allows exporting data as a CSV file, which you can open in excel.
If you specifically want to export data as an Excel file, follow below method:
Save your report in Power BI Desktop and publish it to the Power BI Service
Open the report in Power BI Service, and select “export data” from the visual and choose the file format Excel.

Yes, it is possible to export Power BI visuals data to Excel from both Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service. Here are the steps for each:
Power BI Desktop:

Open your report in Power BI Desktop.

Select the visual you want to export.

Click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the visual.

Select "Export data" from the dropdown menu.

Choose the format (CSV or Excel) and click "Export".

Download the file to your local machine.
Power BI Service:

Open your dashboard in the Power BI Service.

Click on the visual you want to export.

Click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the visual.

Select "Export data" from the dropdown menu.

Choose the format (CSV or Excel) and click "Export".

I am unable to find option to export visual data in excel format in power bi desktop, it is only giving me csv option in drop down while saving the file
