export power BI desktop reports to power point without publishing to the web

Hello,

I work in a big insurance company and due to security reasons we can't upload anything to the cloud / the power BI web services.

However we love and use the Power Bi desktop to create beautiful internal reports.

Is there a way to export reports directly from the power bi desktop to power point (without publishing the report to the web)?
Is there any plans to do that in the future?
This is a must have feature for all the analysts in my team and will love to have your support on that.

If you just want pictures of it in a power point I guess you could always go oldschool and use the snipping tool to screen grab it.

i need to make a couple of presentention at once, so cropping an image is not very useful to me..

Try the SnagIt snipping tool from TechSmith - it is an awesome app that fully automates snipping, cropping, editing, saving screen images.  I use it to publish my Power BI Desktop reports to PowerPoint and it is a huge time-saver.

Currently, "export to powerpoint" is not supported in Power BI Desktop. Please submit a feature request on Idea.
