export from pivot table into excel - does not keep the format

Hi All,

This might be a known issue. We are using 2.81 version of PBI report server. When we export the pivot table data into excel
we do not see the same layout as we see it in the Power BI pivot table.. for ex:

Dept    Name             #Emps
IT          IT1                1
             IT2               1
             IT3               1
FIN        F1                    1

              F2                    1

              F3                     1

In Pivot table the Dept name is shown only once but when we export into excel the Dept name gets repeated for each row
is this something we can add it to the expected/wish list - keep the pivot table format/layout as is when exported into excel

@Raj007 usually power bi report server doesn't have the same feature release as in power bi service. Since this is the new feature, it might not be available on the report server. I guess you have to keep an eye on when there is a new release of the report server and that has this feature. Check release cycle at this link Comparing Power BI Report Server and the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
