error connecting Power BI on SSAS Azure

Hi Twister8,

It seems that you are connecting to Azure SSAS using “Connect Live” option in Power BI Desktop. Could you please post the error message in English?

And how about using import option to connect to Azure SSAS?

I am using Connection live, I open the ticket in microsoft about this...

 

Dou know if its possible connect power bi, via connection live, in azure analysis services? or just importing?

    Hey Twister8

     

    I used Azure Tabular and yes you can connect using Direct Query, no need to import, it works like charm.

     

    Yes, please post the error message in English to help you further.

      On quick note, I would recommend to enter database name even thou it is optional and then try.

       

      And also if possible, please check if you can connect to this Azure Database using SSMS. It will make investigation easy.

        Its possible connect by SSMS and SSAS I can process the tables normaly with this tools, but in power bi i dont know why this problem
