editing default salesforce template

Hi Voose,
Based on your description, you connect to Salesforce using Salesforce content pack and choose Sales Manager predefined dashboard, right? If so, the dashboard will not include custom fields. But you can choose to import Salesforce Reports, which could include custom objects and fields. For more details, please review this article: Salesforce content pack for Power BI.
Also you can connect to all Salesforce Objects, including custom objects and fields using Salesforce connector in Power BI Desktop. Once imported, you can create your own reports and upload them to a Power BI dashboard.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
FYI, When I used Power Query to connect to Salesforce, there was a limit of 2,000 records returned when I connected to the Salesforce Reports (Salesforce Objects did not have this limit). You should consider your data and check if this limit is still in effect and if it is then this would have an impact on your choice of which way to import your data.
Don't spend your time in Salesforce making a report that will not bring in all data to PBI, just import the Salesforce objects and create the report in PBI
