@powerbiexpert22

Currently Power BI does not support where user can type in and that text becomes the slicer value.
The data must come from

1-Data Source.
2- Selection
3-Or parameters.

Workaround:

Create Disconnect Table approach
1-a disconnect table with "Title Selector" Table

2-Dynamic DAX measure.
3-Conditional formatting.

This is fully support in Power BI Service as well.

I don’t think that is currently possible without additional tools, as it would require writeback to the model and real-time access to the entered value. You would likely need either Translytical Task Flows or PowerApps writing back to a database, with the entered value then accessed through DirectQuery. While the input slicer allows arbitrary values to be entered, those values are only used to filter the visuals. I don’t think there is currently a way to directly access the entered value itself.
