drilldown in power bi map visualizations

Hi All,

I need help with drilldown from Area to Branch in power bi Map.

I have data in the below format

AreaBranchOA_latitudeOA_longitudeBranch_latitudeBranch_longitude
EastB125.625948.664224.625945.6642
EastB225.625948.664223.625946.6642
WestB419.543440.172920.543438.1729
WestB519.543440.172921.543438.1729
CentralB625.271551.187726.271549.1877

Currently i have following properties setup for map visualization in power BI

Legend : Branch

Latitude : Branch_Latitude

Longitude : Branch_Longitude

New Requirement : When Power BI report open map should show area wise values and when user clicks on area, map should drill down to branch and show values at branch level.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi,

With Lat and Long u can't show the Filled map bec it is covers only small point.

I suggest u go with Normal map.

but even u cannot get what u expect from this abnormal Data Model.

Using Lat and Long u cannot Drill Down in Map i think so 😞

Hi Baskar,

Thanks for reply.

I am flexible with data model. let me know if drill down can implement from Area to Branch using latitude and longitude using different data model.

Hi @AbdulMukhtar,

As the @Baskar posted, we are not able to set drill down in map visualization. Thanks for your understanding.

Best Regards,
Angelia
