hi,
I have a page with a table showing a product listing. Once a product has been highlighted, a series of buttons are activated on the page that lead to other pages, bringing the value of a field in the table (the product code) into drill-through mode. When I go back from the landing page to the product listing table, the previously highlighted row is no longer highlighted and I therefore have to reselect it to be able to activate the buttons again and select another one.
My question is: is there a way so that when returning to the starting page, the table maintains the previously highlighted row?
Thanks in advance
Enrico
Hi @enricofumagalli ,
Based on my testing, Power BI does not support maintain the selection of a row in a visual after navigating back from a drill-through page.
Please try the following methods as workaround:
1.When select the product, create a bookmark in the page.
Create report bookmarks in Power BI to share insights and build stories - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Create a drillthrough button in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
2.After returning to the starting page, select bookmark and the previously selected row can display.
3.You can also raise a new idea and add the comments there to make the drill through feature that maintain the previously selected row coming sooner.
Best Regards,
Wisdom Wu

HI,
the idea of bookmark in insteresting and it should work well to return to the starting page manteining the selected value.
Of course I could create a bookmark in the report page, but there should be an easy way to update the bookmark before going in the drill-through page. Actually this report has to be used by ohter colleagues thruough service PBI (not Desktop) and they don't know how PBI bookmarks works.
Actually I develope reports in PI desktop and the I publish them in Service, so I need to implement a way to solve my problem in a way easy to be managed.
Anyway thanks for your idea
BR
Enrico
