Hi, in a visual i can easily drill through using the category.. In the example below of statuses, i can easily drill through to look at the data.
|But the numbers are based on the count of each ID. When I bring this status into the drill through category, works great. But I want to use the ID instead, to drill through to the page (there are multiple ID's in each of these Statuses.
Any idea how i can achieve it? It ignore the drill through, despite putting the ID field in the drill through page,
Hi @Anonymous ,
This seems to be impossible to achieve. You must have drilled fields in your page as the target before you can drill.
You can try to set the font color and background color of the City field to white to make it look like this, and you can continue to drill.
Field formatting-select the City field-Font color and Background color are both white.

I think you basically got it.
There's no issues when doing drill down by the legend (Status in this example). But the values that make up the Status, the ID's, i want to drill into my table using those values, rather than the status itself.
It currently ignores it when I try, despite adding the ID field that populates the visual, or the ID that's on the main table.
Did i explain it clearly?
Hey @Anonymous ,
please excuse, but I'm slow.
I do not understand what you are looking for.
Can you please describe the visual on the summary page, and the visual on the detail page.
Regards,
Tom
Hey @Anonymous ,
I guess I do not fully understand your requirement.
Assuming your report has two pages
If you initiate a drill through from the chart on the summary page, just the IDs that form the status should be visualized in the table visual on the detail page.
Does the above not work or do you want something completely different.
Regards,
Tom
Hi Tom. Thanks for your effort, but I had a hard time explaining what i wanted to do in this request. So I'm going to cancel it because I created a new one which it think explains my dilemma much clearer.
