drill though help
Hi
This is my main values I want to use to drilldown to a sub-page (image a). My sub-page(drill through page) isnt recognising this format as this field is originally in a date format i.e. '31/12/2021'.
In the main page I am converting the Date to a 'Year Month' for a graph (as seen in image a). However when I drag the date to be a drill though in the subpage I dont get the option to change the date format to a year/month (image b). anyone help please?

If it doesn't then I think you need a separate date table which will give you more control.

Do you want to share a demo pbix file and I'll send a working example back.
I normally have a column with a start of month date in it for each date and format that as month year. Order is then taken care of.

Have you tried to see if it works? I would expect year/month to pass through a set of dates for that period.

Thanks but I used the Year Month in the graph. If I dont use the date field and use a custom built 'year month' the date order on the graoh (x axis) would go astray...

Hi, Anonymous
If their advice hasn't solved your problem. Would you be willing to share the easy PBIX file for testing? Looking forward to your response.
