drill down

Hi,

1. if I have 2 different reports(seperated data sourses), with different filters names.

is it possible to configure a drill down from one to the other?

2. addditional question:

can I set hidden filters?

I want it to be filtered to a specific chart, and hide it from the end user.

Thanks,

:)

    Hi sreiser,

For the first issue, you can publish the target report to Power BI service, then you can add a filter parameter at the end of the report URL. Reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-url-filters. By the way, you can vote for this idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/20533858-drill-through-functionality-in-power-bi-reports

For the second issue, I could not figure out the sentence “filtered to a specific chart and hide it from the end user” you post in your problem, could you offer me more information about it?

    Regards,

    Daniel He

      Hi.

      thanks for the response!

for the first issue (the drill down), so I understans that it is not supported yet -

meaning, I have an option to filter in the url but not to set it as a drill down from specific visualization to another report, right?

anyway, I did vote for it..

the second question was if I can filter a visualization on specific data, for example : "country = USA", but to hide this filter, and not letting the user see or change this filter.

      thank you  !
