double-clicking a date resets date filter

Hi, need your expertise please. We have imported data from Jan to March. I've set the table.date to start from March to hopefully exclude all data before it from the filter using this formula (Table....

    Hey e_vera 

     

    inside Power Query,

    mark the query (the table that contains the January/February data)

    mark the column and apply a proper filter

     

    Maybe you want to check this site: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/ and have a closer look at the the section "Transform and shape data".

     

    Hopefully, this provides the missing link.

Hey e_vera ,

 

can you please explain why you imported January/February data but, now you want to exclude it.

The most consistent way would be not to import the data or filtering dates that are greater than 29th of February 2020, using  Power Query.

 

The date picker is not restricted to available dates, maybe you create an idea at ideas.powerbi.com

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried to filter from Get Data but couldn't get it to work based on date on multiple tables using the SQL statement for postgres. Would you be able to guide me how to filter from Power Query? 

PS. I have zero idea on this, so a detailed guide is much appreciated. Thank you.
