documenting the logic of calculations

Hello,

I would like to allow the user to read a small description of the KPIs being displayed in my report. For instance, if I am displaying a KPI called "conversion rate", I would like to e.g. allow the user to hover over my card or graph and have them see a small tooltip card that reads "conversion rate = [opportunities]/[leads]".

Even if not possible with tooltips, are there any good examples on how display the documentation of calculation logic in power BI?

Your input is much appreciated!

Hi @moralescas

You could use report tooltip page in power bi.

As it is not possible to add a tooptip for a default KPI visual, we could use a card visual, then add a report tooltip for the card, thus when we hover over the card, it would show a card that reads "conversion rate = [opportunities]/[leads]".

 Referece here:

using report tooltip pages in power bi

Best Regards

Maggie
