direct query from CSV file

Hi,

We have the situation that a csv file filled continue with data from an application.

A refresh schema shows 8 times a day the last information. But we want the possibility to refresh this from a mobile device.

a direct query looks the way, but i think this is not possible. A cloud location for this csv file refresh hourly and is not the solution.

How can we make this?

Or have we to duplicate the CSV file to a SQL table and run a task to do this every minute?

The practis situation is that people scan there presence uppon entry and departure.
When there is a emerengy situation we need to know how many people are present on the plant

I'm afraid that's true if you use the Direct Query. There also could be another solution that is real-time streaming. You need a little program to push the data into Power BI Service. Please refer to power-bi/service-real-time-streaming.
