difficulty to upload reports to SSRS 2016

Hi

 

SSRS 2016 working perfectly but while clicking upload button its able to select the pbix file but which is not showing in the browesr,even its not showing any error message also,

 

Please help if anyone knows the solution

    Hi Biju,

    Tried with the preview and SSRS-2016 versions,in both Upload feature is not working with explorer ,but perfectly working with google chrome.

    I just verified that the Upload feature works all fine for me with my Internet Explore 11. Based on my research, it should be supported in Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 or 11.

     

    As this issue is on SSRS web portal, I would suggest that you also post it on SSRS forum for better assistance. :smileyhappy:

    Hi Biju,

     

    According to this article, Power BI reports can be uploaded and viewed within the Reporting Services web portal within the January 2017 Technical Preview of Power BI reports in SQL Server Reporting Services. So please make sure you have installed the January 2017 Technical Preview of Power BI reports in SQL Server Reporting Services.

      Tried with the preview and SSRS-2016 versions,in both Upload feature is not working with explorer ,but perfectly working with google chrome.Howewer in SSRS -2016 version the reports get downloaded directly there is no option for opening the report.

    Hello,

     

    You can use the deployment features in SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) to publish the reports to a report server. You can publish individual reports or a Report Server project which can include multiple reports and data sources. Publishing a Report Server project is the easiest way to publish multiple reports. SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) uses the term deploy, instead of the term publish. The two terms are interchangeable.
