difference between CONTAINS() and CONTAINSROW() dax functions in power bi

Hello There,

I recently came across CONTAINS(), CONTAINSROW() functions in DAX within Power BI environment; when read through the document, and implemented some examples, I noticed they both can be used to for the same results in some instances; but, when did more research to find more contexts (in comparsion to their definitions in microsoft doucmentation), I couldn't find relevant examples that I can implement. 

could anyone help me in this regards?
