default value in slicer

Hi,

i have a visual in my report where i want to show data of current week.

 

It shows average of values of column "Amount" in the visual for selected weeknumber.

i also have a slicer type dropdown, which shows weeknumber.


when nothing is selected on slicer it shows data for all the months for this year as i have current year filter in Place.
But On Load/by Default  i would like the visual to show data of current week else the slicer selected value.

.

my "Date" column contain data of many years.

    Hi Ayesha,

     

    The Relative mode of the slicer has such a feature. Please give it a try. If you'd like to keep using the Dropdown mode, I would suggest you vote up this idea.

      As I mentioned before, the Relative mode has such a feature. Please refer to the snapshot below.
